Production Supervisor (Full-time/ Trainee)
Job description

Trainee): Lead and supervise plant activities under the direction of the Operations/R&D Manager. Work with the production crew, house- keeping crew, office personnel, and others as needed to complete the duties outlined below as well as others as necessary to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities:

The prime responsibility of this role would be:
  • Ensure work of entire production team is performed following GMPs, Quality and Safety Practices, and proper work methods and procedures
  • Plan, supervise and work in collaboration with the plant supervisor and production team on daily tasks. Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
  • To plan Weekly/ Monthly production activities and prepare daily, monthly production reports, to fulfill the planned monthly targets.
  • Ability to tackle technical challenges during the manufacturing of the products.
  • To ensure the products are manufactured as per the GMP to achieve consistent results and document the data accordingly.
  • Possess hands-on experience in manufacturing and packing activities.
  • Preparation of all Production related documents, Plant SOP’s, and Formats.
  • Documentation of change control, deviations, discrepancies, and market complaints investigations (if any).
  • Review, evaluate, impart on the job and classroom training to all subordinates, operators, helpers, and housekeeping personnel on GMP issues, SOP’s, personnel hygiene, validation & environmental controls.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend alternate courses of action in scheduling and production
  • Plan & manage production flow and schedule inventory traction from different warehouses
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions (after training)
  • Work with the R&D Manager & Production team to maintain plant cleanliness and maintenance schedule
  • Other duties may be assigned


Other Skills/Responsibilities:

  • 0- 3 years of plant or production experience
  • Past leadership experience will be an added advantage
  • Willing to learn the culture of the company and be a team player
  • Willing to complete on-the-job training including orientation, production
  • Motivated, attentive, and detail-oriented with the aim to do great work
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with crew and other personnel
  • Willing to wear proper uniform/dress code and safety gear as per company policy
